This is not a vanity project. It began as a casual experiment, simply to open up a house to artists, art projects and under the radar work There have been seven exhibitions so far. I find the process, the planning, gestation and the kite-like working of the imagination, fascinating. It can be difficult too. Artists are both resilient and vulnerable, often meaning gets lost in translation, the end result can be surprising.
I would like this space to be a site of experimentation, where artistic expression is not edited or censored, within reason. 3 Walls is also a functioning home with a cat, teenager and myself living our lives in a happy haphazard way…
